Thematic parent meeting "Risks and opportunities on the Internet"
The workshop is held in groups of up to 30 people, formed according to the age of the children:
– A group of parents of children aged 7 to 11 (grades 1-4);
– A group of parents of children aged 12 to 15 (grades 5-7).
– A group of parents of students aged 16 to 18 (grades 9-12).
Seminar duration: between 90 and 120 minutes
The aim of the thematic meeting is to make parents aware of the main risks for children on the Internet and how to recognize the symptoms of problematic Internet use. During the meeting we will introduce parents to the main ways to encourage positive behaviour online and good parenting practices in the digital world, as well as channels for reporting, finding help and further information. The meeting is open for discussion of specific questions and cases.
